Why should you apply to be a Community Ambassador?
This is a unique opportunity to work with a fast-growing entertainment startup and make an early impact on building a new community from the ground up. Over the course of the semester, community ambassadors will work on an individual project with the goal of growing brand awareness and audience. You will also get to work closely with Meet Cute’s Chief of Staff and marketing team.
Skills you will develop as an ambassadors include:
- Creating and co-developing marketing materials and outreach campaigns
- Building and moderating an engaged community on digital channels like Discord
- Organizing community programs and events that are sponsored by Meet Cute and partner with various student groups
- Being the demographic expert on what our Gen Z audiences resonate with
What are we looking for in a Community Ambassador?
An individual between 16-25 years old, who is:
- An entertainment fanatic (tv, podcasts, movies, music), a sucker for a good rom-com, active on campus through student organizations, and eager to further enrich the campus experience through new projects and initiatives. You’re an enthusiastic, natural leader who loves to spot new trends and share with those around you.
- Eager to create, lead, and foster a new community that will amplify Meet Cute’s brand.
- Excited for the digital media space, social media marketing, and cultivating close-knit and positive communities online.
This program will run from Jan ‘22-May ‘22, with the opportunity to extend your involvement to a summer 2022 internship. If your school/major allows internship for course credit, we are happy to work with you on meeting the criteria to do so.
